1999 Outback, out the back, & not quite over the hill

Prospect Gallery , S.A. , 7 - 28 November

The ‘outback' part of the title refers to a series that came from a trip to Lake Mungo, when I really looked at kangaroos for the first time. How elegant they are when bounding across the landscape & how when still those dangly little paws need something to hold onto…

‘out the back' refers to the garden series, & ‘not quite over the hill' is a series where I realised my age, & the irresponsible things that I enjoyed doing - like jumping in puddles.
