‘THE TRAVELLING SHOW’

This is a travelling show in more than one aspect. The subject matter is about travelling to Warrnambool & back to Melbourne on the Princes Highway & the Great Ocean Road, and the show (or exhibition) is travelling to different locations on this route.

Joy Smith has woven her favourite scenes into small tapestries, most of these are framed and hung around the exhibition space forming a circle, reflecting the ‘round’ trip. Other tapestries, more well know ‘tourist’ images are being presented as postcards – on a postcard stand.
