Here and There


"This exhibition covers a few subjects including my recent move to Ballarat and fascination with Lake Wendouree. Living close by and visiting most days I am intrigued by the moods of the lake, different colours of the water, sky, trees and of course the birdlife, swans in particular.

I tend to work with things/images that nag me and will not leave me alone until woven. Whether it is landscapes, windblown trees, jugs, vegetables and fruits I have grown in my garden. My chosen medium to work in is woven tapestry, involving a process which can be quite slow and technical, but for me is very calming and enjoyable – mostly.
